Historic and Beautiful Savannah, GA

March 18, 2017

So we decided to take a quick weekend getaway to Savannah, GA. In an attempt to indulge in the culture, we decided to skip the big hotel chains and stayed at a beautiful victorian bed and breakfast near the Forsyth Park. And let me tell you, this felt like a genius idea.

The lush tree lined streets, the elegant Victorian, Greek and Gothic revival homes – we felt like we just walked into a piece of history and were living in it.

So If you are ever in this beautiful town try to stay in one of their many amazing bed and breakfasts. Walk down their historic streets down to River Street. Check out the antique shops, and yes take the trolley tours – soooo worth it!!

And if you are into modern art like me, then definitely stop by SCAD(Savannah College or Art and Design) Museum. Great installations by students, alums, and other talented artists.

xoxo,
