Another perfect spring Sunday and we decided to go to Central Park and soak in some rays and in my case flaunt that melanin. Being the last minute planners that we are, obvs couldn’t get any brunch reservation for restaurants by the park so we improvised and grabbed “to go” lunches from Whole Foods nearby.

Crisp breeze, chirping birds, kids running around, lovers in rowboats and sun rays penetrating through the tree canopy make for a perfect urban getaway for serenity in the middle of this bustling concrete jungle.

After all these years in New York City, Central Park still gets me!! I could stay here and soak it all in for hours.
